What is Printed Circuit University?
Printed Circuit University, or PCU, is the e-learning, online resource for the printed circuit engineering community, offering a virtual campus of webinars and presentations from experts in printed circuit design, fabrication and assembly.
What types of information is available?
Classes (presentations/tutorials) are presented in video-on-demand format. Classes cover printed circuit design, fabrication, and assembly.
What is the length of the PCU membership? Can I join to watch a single class?
Individual and corporate memberships (licenses) are available. The cost varies by the type of license. Subscriptions are valid for 365 days from the date of payment.
Are previews of the PCU classes available?
Yes. Most classes have three to five minute previews available for viewing without a subscription.
How often is the content updated?
There is currently more than 100 hours’ worth of presentations, and UPMG adds content on a regular basis.
Are the classes downloadable?
No. All content is protected by copyright and cannot be downloaded. Furthermore, most content cannot be accessed without a subscription. Any violations of this policy could result in loss of license.
Do I have to be a PCU member to access the online classes?
For the most part, yes. There are some shorter classes that may be available at no charge from time to time.
